Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Fasoo AI Co., Ltd. (“Fasoo,” “we,” “us” or “our”), a company incorporated in the Republic of Korea, collects, uses, discloses and otherwise processes your personal information when you visit our website at www.fasoo.ai (the “Website”) or use our related online services, communications and events. Users can access the Website and such related services (collectively, the “Services”) through applications on devices, through APIs, and through third-parties. A “Device” is any computer used to access the Services, including without limitation a desktop, laptop, mobile phone, tablet, or other consumer electronic device. This Privacy Policy applies to your use of the Services, regardless of how you access them. All of the different forms of data, content, and information described below are collectively referred to as “information”.
Applicable Law and Scope
Fasoo is the personal information controller responsible for your personal information. Because Fasoo is established in the Republic of Korea, our processing of personal information is governed by the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea (“PIPA”) and other applicable laws of the Republic of Korea, regardless of the country from which you access the Services.
The Services are accessible from many countries. Where the data protection laws of the country or region in which you are located also apply to our processing of your personal information (for example, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), the UK GDPR, or the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (“CCPA”)), we will also comply with those laws. Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to limit any rights you have under the mandatory data protection laws that apply to you. Additional information for residents of certain regions is provided in “Regional Supplements” below.
This Privacy Policy is a notice describing our practices and is not a contract. Your contractual relationship with Fasoo is governed by our Terms of Service or any separate agreement you have entered into with us.
The Information We Collect and Store
We may collect and store the following information when running the Services.
Information You Provide to Fasoo
When you submit an inquiry, request a demo or quotation, download materials,
subscribe to our newsletter or register for an event or webinar through the Website, we collect your name, company name, department and job title, business email address, business phone number, country, and the contents of your inquiry or request. When you register an account, we collect some personal information, such as your name, and email address. You may also ask us to import your contacts by giving us access to your third party services (for example, your email account). You may also provide us with your contacts’ email addresses when sharing folders or files with them. We may also receive Personal Information (for example, your email address) through other users, for example if they have tried to share something with you. Lastly, you will provide your password for use of the Services.
Automatically Collected Information
We automatically receive certain types of information when you interact with our Web pages, services and communications. For example, it is standard for your Web browser to automatically send information to every Web site you visit, including ours. That information includes your computer’s IP address, access times, your browser type and language, and referring Web site addresses. We may also collect information about the type of operating system you use, your account activity, and files and pages accessed or used by you.
Log Data
When you use the Services, we automatically record information from your Device, its software, and your activity using the Services. This may include the Device’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, the web page visited before you came to our website, information you search for on our website, locale preferences, identification numbers associated with your Devices, your mobile carrier, date and time stamps associated with transactions, system configuration information, metadata concerning your Files, and other interactions with the Services.
We collect IP addresses to audit the use of our service. Although we automatically record your IP address, the actual IP address will not be shown on our website; instead, the general location of where the IP address is located will be shown. In addition, we do not provide your IP address to any third parties, except to service providers processing it on our behalf as described below or as required by law.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
We and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels and local storage) on the Website to operate the Website, remember your preferences, and analyze how the Website is used [using services such as Google Analytics]. You can accept or refuse cookies through your browser settings (for example, in Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Third-party cookies; in Microsoft Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions). If you refuse cookies, some features of the Website may not function properly. Where required by applicable law (for example, for visitors from the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom), we will use cookies that are not strictly necessary only with your consent, which you may give or withdraw at any time through our cookie settings.
Legal Bases for Processing
We process your personal information only where permitted by applicable law. Under the PIPA, we process personal information (i) with your consent; (ii) where necessary to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract with you, or to perform a contract with you; (iii) where necessary to comply with our legal obligations; or (iv) where necessary to achieve our legitimate interests (such as securing, maintaining and improving the Services), where such interests clearly override your rights, and only to the extent substantially related to such interests and within a reasonable scope. Where the GDPR or the UK GDPR applies, these correspond to Article 6(1)(a), (b), (c) and (f) of the GDPR, respectively.
We will ask for your separate consent before using your personal information to send you marketing communications, and you may withdraw your consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our communications or by contacting us.

We will not use your personal information for purposes that are incompatible with those described above without obtaining your consent or as otherwise permitted by applicable law.
