Before Fasoo AI, he worked at Samsung SDS and Samsung Electronics, where he led several product development projects and initiated related businesses. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Rutgers University and B.S. and M.S degrees. in Electrical Engineering from Seoul National University. His research interests have been focused on AI, especially machine learning and computer vision, since his doctoral studies, and have evolved through his professional career into areas such as cybersecurity analytics and self-organizing content management.
He has led the cybersecurity industry and served as the chairman of the Korea Information Security Industry Association (KISIA) in 2012 and 2013. He also serves as the Chairman of Enactus Korea Board of Directors.
